We had fantastic weather for our Dunkeld meeting, with bright sunshine and enough warmth to enjoy a leisurely picnic at Mill Dam, before tackling Deuchary Hill and getting the view over to Loch Ordie. We also found some scraps of snow, which greatly excited the southern members of the group, since it was all they have seen of it this winter! It's a beautiful place to visit any time, and good for biking as well as walking. Thanks to Fiona for reviewing the details to make sure they made sense.
Tea at the Atholl Arms in Dunkeld was pretty good, and the scones with cream and strawberries were wicked.
Who was there:
from the Inglis, Alistair, Morag, Elspeth, Ronald, and the Melrose Inglis except for Harriet (including Pip)
from the Holdsworths, Philippa and Scamp
from the Frogston Nicholsons, everyone except Chris.
That makes 15 and 5 dogs
and the Trinity Nicholsons joined us for tea.
