18th February 2017, Elie to Anstruther on the Fife Coastal Path
Another coastal walk on the Forth, this time starting at the harbour in Elie and walking the Fife Coastal Path via St Monans and Pittenweem to Anstruther. Our evening meal is in Anstruther, which hopefully means we get to keep warm while sorting out how to reunite people with their cars.
Where to meet: We will meet in the village of Elie, Fife, parking at the harbour. There should be toilets available at the harbour.
When to meet: 11.30am aiming to start walking around 12.
The meal: I have booked The Waterfront in Anstruther, which we used on our last Fife Coastal Path walk, for 5pm. Their website is here. The menu is on the site but subject to change just now.
What if it's wet?:Lots of bonny bits of the East Neuk to choose from but no specific suggestions, sorry.
How to get to the walk: it looks like most of you would approach Elie via the M90, A92 (direction Glenrothes), A915 (direction St Andrews), A917. it should be well signposted since it has a holiday park, but you may need to follow signs for East Neuk initially.
