30th May 2015, Cramond, Edinburgh
A coastal walk on the Forth from Cramond to Dalmeny. Have a look at this link for details. Some or all of us will return by bus, and then rescue anyone who's left.
Where to meet: We will meet at the Cramond Brig pub on the A90. You can park at the pub or on a minor road behind it. Note that this is not where we will have tea. My intention is that when we get back to this point we will drive the short distance down to Cramond itself and eat at the Cramond Inn. So in selecting your parking spot you just want to be close to a bus-stop for the number 43.
When to meet: 11.30am aiming to start walking around 12.
The meal: It won't be a high tea, just a pub meal, at the Cramond Inn. If you google it you will find a huge mixture of reviews. The bad ones appear to be from around 2013 and it seems to have risen from the ashes since then. It has been recommended to me.
What if it's wet?: Well, on past performance we will press on regardless! However there are lots of options around so I will do a bit of research.
How to get to the walk: See the Where to meet section and click the Cramond Brig link to get a map.
