3rd November, Fife Coastal Path, Pittenweem to Crail

A varied coastal route in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife, on OS sheet 59.

Pittenweem harbour

Some of us met by the harbour in Pittenweem, and set off from there, eventually catching up with the others who started in Anstruther. We all made it to Crail which was looking very pretty in the sunshine, and then we just had to get cars and people all gathered in Anstruther for tea!

The walk: From Pittenweem, we will head east and pass through Anstruther, then head along the coast to Crail. It is a straight-through walk, so we will arrange for a car or 2 to be at Crail, and there is also a 95 bus service hourly back to Pittenweem.

High tea:Waterfront Restaurant, Anstruther, 4.30 for 5pm. Tel 01333 312200. Click here for a picture and map
